Marina A Richardson
I am a marine conservation scientist currently completing my PhD at Griffith University. My research interests are focused on developing foundational information in partnership with community organisations to best inform oyster reef restoration. For my PhD I am specifically focused on increasing our understanding of which species of oysters are reef-building in Queensland using molecular methods for accurate identification, understanding the physical structures that newly documented reef-building oysters are capable of creating, and documenting biological communities associated with newly discovered tropical oyster reefs.
