Zhaoqing Yang
Dr. Zhaoqing Yang is a Chief Scientist of ocean modeling in the Coastal Sciences Division of PNNL, and a Distinguished Faculty Fellow at the University of Washington. Dr. Yang’s research covers broad areas related to coastal processes and their responses to climate change. His recent research focuses on marine energy, storm surge and coastal flooding, and impacts of climate change on coastal zones using modeling approach. Zhaoqing holds a Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography from Virginia Institute of Marine Science, College of William and Mary, USA.
