Elizabeth P.A Keehner
Elizabeth Keehner is a marine biologist and a second-year PhD student at Deakin University. Her research interests are in restoration and conservation of marine animals and plants. Her research explores optimising seed-based seagrass restoration in nursery conditions for use in seagrass restoration. Her research is focusing on optimising nursery and sediment conditions, conditioning seedlings to the natural environment and manipulating germination in winter. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) degree in seagrass restoration from Deakin University. She has a passion for marine environments and scuba diving and volunteers with community science projects.
