Adrian Cupitt
Adrian is a physicist and lighting scientist with a focus on the impacts of artificial light on wildlife and humans, and the monitoring and reduction of light pollution. Adrian has managed surveys of artificial light at night for councils and government bodies, and correlates sky brightness with the behaviour of marine animals such as loggerhead turtles. Results of such studies have been used to guide Planning Scheme development and Best Practice Lighting Design in marine areas.
