Jason Richardson
Jason Richardson is a Yawuru traditional owner, law boss, and Ranger with the Yawuru joint management team in Broome, WA. Jason also has strong cultural and family connections with Bard country on the Dampier Peninsula north of Broome. Following a trades career Jason has worked in joint management for over a decade including stints in education and administration roles as well as acting roles in wildlife compliance and senior ranger for the Yawuru team. Jason has a strong knowledge of fire and other terrestrial conservation management and is currently the Ranger for the Yawuru Nagulagun / Roebuck Bay Marine Park and skipper for the vessel Jurrwayi. Jason is a director of the Yawuru PBC and sits on the advisory board for the Gumaranganyjal/Roebuck Plains Pastoral Station.
