Julie Keane
Julie Keane, is an environmental planner, committed to working with traditional owners to ensure traditional values and knowledges are incorporated into development and management of land and sea. Julie’s background is in environmental impact assessment for major projects, and through this she has worked closely with traditional owner groups throughout Queensland. Currently Julie works for North Queensland Bulk Ports Corporation (NQBP) as a development advisor, providing advice in relation to development requirements and management of cultural heritage across NQBP’s four port locations. Julie is also responsible for implementation of the partnership NQBP has with Juru Enterprises Limited, for land and sea management.
